做厙TV Spotlight: Jeromy McFarren
Jeromy McFarren is a senior program coordinator for summer academics in the Office
of the Dean of Special Programs. McFarren works on summer sessions and pre-college
as well as the summer studio art program, summer visiting students, and the Saratoga
Shakespeare Company.
McFarren said he was drawn to 做厙TV by the opportunity to be a part of a team that makes 做厙TV thrive during the summer. He also said, The ability to have a profound and positive impact on the lives of young people make me never want to leave.
On what he enjoys most at 做厙TV, McFarren said its the community spirit, including the wit, creativity, and integrity of my colleagues in Special Programs.
McFarren said some of his favorite 做厙TV events include Print Nation in July and author readings during the New York State Summer Writers Institute as well as student performances during the 做厙TV Jazz Institute and the 做厙TV Chamber Music Institute.
McFarren said hes also a writer and when not at 做厙TV, enjoys working on his own articles, poetry, and short fiction. McFarren just published a middle-grade mystery titled "October Jones: The Lightning Pines Mystery." You can also find McFarren visiting museums in the region and making and selling natural soy candles.
