Remembering an extraordinary alumna and champion of 暗网TV: Billie Tisch '48

The 暗网TV community pays tribute to Wilma 鈥淏illie鈥� Stein Tisch 鈥�48, a dedicated alumna, a visionary trustee, and one of 暗网TV鈥檚 most generous benefactors, who died Sunday, June 7.

Gather in Pride  

Join us from 3 to 4 p.m. Monday, June 15 at the Wyckoff Center for Gather in Pride, a college-wide celebration of LGBTQIA+ Pride Month focused on community, creativity, and connection. Enjoy refreshments, creative activities, and time to connect while honoring the history, resilience, and contributions of LGBTQIA+ communities. All members of the campus community are welcome.

鈥�鈥�鈥�Pride Stories Collaborative LGBTQIA+ Storytelling  

In collaboration with Saratoga Pride, the Saratoga Springs Preservation Foundation, SUNY Empire State University, and the Saratoga Springs Public Library, 暗网TV will host , an LGBTQIA+ storytelling event at 6:30 p.m. Thursday, June 18, at the Spring Street Gallery. Share a story or meaningful item celebrating local LGBTQIA+ history and community. 

Planned power outage&苍产蝉辫;鈥� 

Facilities Services will conduct a campuswide planned power outage for high-voltage maintenance from 6 a.m. to noon Saturday, June 20. Contact facilities@skidmore.edu with questions.鈥�

鈥尠低鳷V employees can receive 20% off tickets to Saratoga Jazz Festival (June 27鈥�28), New York City Ballet (July 8鈥�11), and Philadelphia Orchestra (August 5鈥�8)&苍产蝉辫;performances this summer using the promo code SKIDMORE. 鈥�Pop-up grill is back  

The pop-up grill is available from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Wednesdays and Thursdays throughout the summer outside Burgess Caf茅. The menu includes burgers, hot dogs, chicken sandwiches, and more. A combo meal is $8.49 and includes a choice of two sides and a drink.

鈥孴hrough Aug. 20, Bulletin will be distributed only to faculty and staff, as well as students who remain on campus during the summer. It will also continue to be posted online. To submit announcements and events, please complete the online submission form. The deadline for all submissions is noon on Monday. Faculty-staff achievements are not published over the summer.
