°µÍřTV will bestow honorary degrees upon Mohawk educator and storyteller Kay Olan (Ionataie:was) and physician, epidemiologist, and endocrinologist JoAnn E. Manson during the College’s 2026 Commencement Exercises on Saturday, May 16, at Saratoga Performing Arts Center (SPAC).

Participate in MSCHE Open Forums

‌The Middle States Commission on Higher Education (MSCHE) will host open forums to give the community an opportunity to share their perspectives with the visiting peer review team. Staff are invited to attend from 3:25 to 4:10 p.m. Monday, March 30, in Davis Auditorium. Faculty sessions will be held from 10:15 to 11 a.m. Tuesday, March 31, in Davis Auditorium. ‌The Office of the President invites nominations for deserving individuals or teams for a 2026 President's Leadership and Service Award. Students, faculty members, exempt staff, non-exempt staff, or union personnel may be nominated (self-nominations will not be considered). To nominate a person or team, please complete this form and submit it via email or campus mail, or complete this online form, to the Office of the President by 4 p.m. Wednesday, April 1.

‌Facilities Services has several summer job opportunities available for high school and college students seeking short-term employment in a supportive campus environment. Community celebration at Ferrari Field

‌Join the °µÍřTV community at Ferrari Field on Saturday, April 4, at 11:15 a.m. for a pregame celebration of the new baseball field before the Thoroughbreds face Westfield State University. ‌‌“Who Does the Law Protect? Gender, Power, and Thinking Like a Lawyer” 

‌Leigh Goodmark, a practicing attorney, legal scholar, and bestselling author, will present a lecture on the intersections of gender, law, and social justice at 4 p.m. Thursday, April 9, in the Wyckoff Center. The event will be followed by a Q&A on preparing for law school and thinking critically about who the law protects and why.

‌°µÍřTV Young Scholars Science Institute

‌The °µÍřTV Young Scholars Science Institute is a free summer program for local high school students featuring a variety of STEM-related subjects. The program will run July 20-24 and includes lunch. The application deadline is May 30. Learn more.

‌Stoles and cords celebration 

‌The Office of Student Diversity and Inclusion will host the Stoles and Cords Celebration to honor °µÍřTV graduates at 4 p.m. Monday, April 21, at the Surrey Williamson Inn. All students are welcome to attend. .

‌Adirondack Trust Lecture on Finance 

‌The Management and Business Department will host the fifth annual Adirondack Trust Lecture on Finance, “Who’s Afraid of the Big Bad National Debt?” featuring Joerg Bibow. The lecture will be held at 6 p.m. Monday, April 6, in Gannett Auditorium. The lecture is made possible through the support of the Adirondack Trust Company and the Wait family.

‌Greening Your Office Lunch and Learn

‌Faculty and staff are invited to attend the Greening Your Office Lunch and Learn workshop on creating more sustainable practices in departments and office spaces. The session will be held from noon to 1 p.m. Wednesday, April 1, in the McCaffery-Wagman Tennis and Wellness Center Community Room. Lunch will be provided. .

‌Collections Touch Tour 

‌The Tang Teaching Museum will host a Collections Touch Tour at 2 p.m. Saturday, March 28. Designed for visitors who are blind or have low vision, and their companions, the tour will feature verbal description, discussion, and tactile exploration of selected works from the Tang collection. Free and open to the public; registration is required. .

‌Registration for Fall 2026 

‌Registration for the fall 2026 semester begins at 8:30 a.m. Tuesday, March 31. Refer to the Registration Information page for timeslot schedules, step-by-step registration instructions, and the link to Schedule Planner.

‌Course withdrawal deadline 

‌The deadline to withdraw from spring 2026 courses without a grade penalty is Thursday, April 9. For more information, review the Course Withdrawal Considerations page or contact the Office of the Registrar.

‌Faculty regalia rentals

‌Faculty who need regalia for Commencement should using customer number 31015660000 and order number 5508535. Select “New Faculty;” choose cap, gown, tassel and hood; and enter your degree information. Select “Philosophy” for any Ph.D. Rental fees are $66.25 for bachelor’s regalia and $68 for master’s or doctoral regalia. The deadline to order is Wednesday, April 15. Regalia will be shipped to the °µÍřTV Shop for pickup beginning May 6. Returns, including original packaging, are due to the shop by June 16.
