Ash Wednesday and Lent 
Receive ashes on the second floor of Case Center today or join the ORSL for a gathering at 12:30 p.m. in the Wyckoff Center. Midday prayer will be held Mondays at 12:30 p.m. in Case 205. A Lenten study group, discussing Christian nationalism, will meet Thursdays from noon to 1 p.m. during Lent. ; contact orsl@skidmore.edu for more information. 

Ramadan Kickoff 

Those who are observing Ramadan are invited to with the Office of Religious and Spiritual Life and check SkidSync to receive information about resources and events. A will be held at 5:20 p.m. today in the Wyckoff Center. 

Shabbat and Iftar dinner 
Join the Muslim Student Association and Hillel for an Iftar and Shabbat dinner from 5:30 to 8 p.m. Friday, Feb. 20, in the dining hall (second floor). All are welcome. Food restrictions and allergies will be accommodated.

Purim Shabbat Dinner and Carnival 

Join the Jewish community for a kosher style dinner, club performances, and activities from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Friday, Feb. 27, at The Spa. All are welcome. Food restrictions and allergies will be accommodated. before 4 p.m. Friday, Feb. 20.

Black Men Speaking: A Conversation with Eight African American Writers 

All are invited to join distinguished African American writers Ethelbert Miller, Clifford Thompson, Jerald Walker, Mark Sanders, Gerald Early, David Nicholson, John McCluskey Jr., and Charles Johnson today, Wednesday, Feb. 18, from 45 p.m. for a conversation about American history, literature, politics, and culture. Assistant Professor Tammy Owens will moderate. 

Black History Month  

Institutional Diversity and the Wyckoff Center invite the community to recognize Black History Month with a series of events honoring Black history, culture, and contributions. RSVPs are required to attend certain events. Learn more

Annual Edwin M. Moseley Faculty Lectureship

Registration for Summer Sports Camps

Registration for 做厙TV Summer Sports Camps opens March 1. Led by 做厙TV coaches, the camps are open to children of all ages and teach teamwork concepts and skills in baseball, basketball, field hockey, ice hockey, lacrosse, soccer, softball, and volleyball.

Science on Tap at Common Roots 

At 7 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 25, at Common Roots Brewing, Kim Frederick, professor of chemistry and Charles Lubin Family Chair for Women in Science, will present "Turning All Citizens into Scientists using Paper and Cell Phones." .
